So i was going through the settings on wordpress trying to get my imeem on here (and no, i still have not found a way to do it…) and i discovered this charity link. I chose a charity that helps provide clean water to poor areas in Africa, so if you could help, i would REALLY REALLY appreciate it and think you awesome for doing it.

As for Mac July 22, 2009

So i reformatted it and it was working fine. WAS. now the screen won’t even turn on. My sister diagnosed the chronic illness and said it might be a logic issue, or if i’m really unlucky, an actual hardware problem. Since it’s an older mac, it would be more expensive to repair then replace… I really hope it’s just illogical. AAAAAAAAAAGH

Would You Miss Me? July 22, 2009

I heard this song on youtube first, and i liked it so i checked out the channel. Ends up where Amy Kuney (the singer) has been touring and stuff. she’s a good singer, has kind of a retro voice, and its a really catchy song. Like you could be cleaning the dishes and end up humming it. Anyways, its a good song and i like it. I would love to learn this on my guitar

And I can’t believe summer is almost over… i’m not ready to let go of my freedom yet :‘(

The Jonas Brother’s World Tour July 17, 2009

I was lucky enough to have a friend who invited me to the Jonas Brother’s World Tour for Lines, Vines, and Trying Times. SO GOOOD. They played their biggest hits like Year 3000, Burning Upand my favorite, Love Bug. Then they played some others like Poison Ivy, Paranoid, and World War III that are from their new CD. But ofcourse they were the last act.

The first act was a group i haven’t heard much about called Honor Society. They were really good too, though. They got the crowd excited and jumping. Full Moon Crazy

The next performers were the Wondergirls from Korea (?) and they sang their hit “Nobody” and taught us how to dance to the song (love this video):

Bitter/Sweet Deal and spaghetti July 17, 2009

yeah, so my Macintosh hasn’t been working in months (when i turn it on, it gets pin-stripes on the screen) because i tried to download a picture off of my flashdrive, but i think i actually downloaded a VIR-us.

YEAH…

so i am reformatting it as i type. which means i had to erase everything, including my garageband songs, the program itself, my pictures from my camera, and the things i wrote on there. again, BUMMER. atleast i didnt have any games (except Chess) on the computer because i don’t want to spend any money on them (and Chess comes with the program. i like chess, but i don’t really play it. and seriously tho, CHESS?! my sister has a mac and she had a tony hawk skateboarding game on hers…. ~jealousyyy~). so it’s still downloading the reformat cd. and i finished dinner. so i’m kind of bored. but i hear boredom is healthy. gives you time to think. or blog in this case. BLOG is a funny word, kind of like spelunking, or bubble, or clothe. clothe just sounds wierd when you say it. one of the stupidest words ever spelled is spaghetti. i mean really, we DON’T NEED AN H! MAKE us feel stupid when the spell check laughs at us for spelling it wrong. it’s like ‘ha.ha.ha.ha.ha…HA. you fail human. like when i beat you at chess.” it’s almost done.

i heard this song on the radio two nights ago and i thought it was john mayer, and how the random guitar moments were great in the song,  but i had no idea what it was called. so i went through youtube and a bunch of online lyrics for john mayer songs and couldn’t find it. i finally went to this lyrics online search engine and i found out it’s not by john mayer, but by Teddy Geiger. For those of you who don’t know him, he was a short lived sensation a few years ago who sadly disappeared in a puff of hollywood lights. he was a great artist, like a younger (i dare say more attractive) version of john mayer (sorry john) with really, REALLY light blue/cloudy eyes. okay, so i’ve had this blog for less than a year (maybe half a year, not sure really…) and i have as many views as an entire year has days!  i want to thank everyone who has me on their blog roll. it’s been fun. but i am FAR from over, so don’t start thinking, “OMG, is she finished?!?”  i know you all look here everyday to start your mornings off at a positive note. i’ll keep updating the blog when i find songs i like or videos that have not been un-embedded on youtube. cross your fingers…. there are few left    {:|

So i wasn’t really sure what to call this one because John Mayer never gave it a name. It’s actually not even on a cd yet, but i wanted to put it on here because I liked the way he filmed it and i like the piano and how relaxing it sounds. The clips are from a trip to japan where he went just to quiet down and “hear what my head was saying.” his entire explanation is at youtube with the video.
